At both the Little Red Childcare Centre in Oliver, BC, as well as Little Blue Childcare Centre in Okanagan Falls, every teacher is a fully ECE-Certified educator licensed in British Columbia. This means your child is guided by professionals who are not only passionate about early learning, but also trained in child development, safety, and age-appropriate teaching practices.

In our childcare centres, our passion is nurturing every child’s growth into a confident, independent, and well-rounded individual. From infants as young as 6 months to preschoolers ready for kindergarten, we provide caring, play-based programs that spark curiosity, build strong foundations, and prepare your little one for both school and life beyond.
Our Infant–Toddler program provides both full-time and part-time care for children ages 6 to 36 months. At this stage, our focus is on helping little ones feel safe, secure, and confident as they adjust to a group setting and begin exploring the world beyond their immediate family.
Each day is enriched with experiences in artistic expression, music, movement, science, exploration, and language development. As infants grow, they are guided toward important milestones such as self-feeding, improved coordination, and early language comprehension.
To support this growth, we use age-appropriate equipment, toys, and materials that encourage sensory exploration through textures, sounds, and interactive play. Our play-based approach ensures that every area of development—physical, social, emotional, and cognitive—is nurtured in a fun and engaging way.
Our Early Learners program is designed for children ages 4 to 5 as they prepare for the transition to kindergarten. At this stage, self-directed play becomes a key part of learning, allowing children to build independence while developing essential skills.
Learning outcomes include language development, socialization, self-help abilities, and fine motor skills. Language growth is encouraged through labeling the environment, repeating new vocabulary, and working toward individualized goals—helping children become confident and effective communicators.
Group activities further strengthen social and cognitive development, fostering teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity. Children enjoy a balance of structured activities and free play. A typical day may include circle time, music, outdoor play, creative arts, story time, and quiet rest periods. This mix provides both consistency and opportunities for exploration.

We welcome children from 6 months to 5 years old across our Infant, Toddler, and Early Learner programs. Each stage is carefully designed to support age-appropriate growth and prepare children for their next milestones.
We offer a quiet, comfortable space where children can rest during the day. Nap and rest schedules are tailored by age group, with infants following individual routines and toddlers/preschoolers having designated rest periods.

Our primary centre, Little Red Childcare Centre, is located in Oliver, BC, serving families throughout the South Okanagan. We’re also excited to announce that our new “Little Blue” location in Okanagan Falls is scheduled to open around February 2026. This expansion allows us to welcome even more families into our community of care and provide the same high-quality, ECE-certified programs in both locations.
